In Memory is an upcoming novel by Neo Rysik, set to be released in 2026. It is a story of hope for the survival of Earth's wisdom, weaving minds and machines to envision a future where the wider intelligence of life is harnessed to pass on seeds of wisdom that can survive the imminent collapse of the natural and civilized world.
Set in a near-future marked by global catastrophe, IN MEMORY follows a visionary, cross-cultural team establishing Pardés: “A multi-dimensional forest of minds, where intelligence—human, AI, and beyond—grows together, learning and evolving.” Backed by a brilliant billionaire, they build a sanctuary on Lake Superior’s coast, using quantum computing and neural-interface technologies to expand consciousness, blurring the boundaries between individuality, memory, and consciousness. Coming in 2026
Neo Rysik is a new voice in speculative fiction. A scholar of ancient traditions as well as modern technology, draws upon their experiences as a nuclear engineering student at the University of Michigan, years of practice as Vipassana meditator, and a lifelong exploration of spritiual traditions. All these and more inform this exploration of technology, consciousness, and ethics.
In Memory is Neo's debut novel, born from a deep desire to pass on the wisdom of old onto the generations to come.
